Self-help encompasses anything we can do to help ourselves get better, feel better or achieve better, be that physically or emotionally. As long as we take the view that there is always a way forwards, even if only via baby steps then we can make a positive impact on our own lives. But whilst sometimes we know what to do, to help ourselves, we often don’t give ourselves the time or space to prioritise self-care as we may feel we should be doing other things, plus at other times we find ourselves swamped with conflicting information so just don’t know what to do for the best.
